.Avraham Oz is a professor in the Department of Theatre & Drama Studies at the University of Haifa. Besides translating various Shakespearean plays into Hebrew, he is very active in various Israeli [rest in] peace movements. On October 2002 he wrote the following comments on a website (The Handstand : "the anarchic online journal for authors of political enquiry, poetry, philosophy and art")... "While not condoning inhuman crimes cynically perpetrated by extremist Palestinians against civilians in Israel in the name of so-called freedom fighting, the official response of the current Israeli government often becomes a version of State Terrorism..."  We at Masada2000.org have no idea what the professor means by "cynically" murdering Jews. Does he mean those who have smirks on their faces when they pull the trigger? We're not even sure what he means by "extremist Palestinians." Does he mean that more "moderate Palestinians" murder Jewish babies more moderately? But one thing we DO understand is that Professor Oz has no problem whatsoever using the term "terrorism" when referring to an Israeli government that fights back against those "extremist Palestinians!"

When the American-led coalition was preparing for her 2003 attack on Saddam Hussein's Iraq, Professor Oz sent out a series of worldwide ads/petitions with the dire warning, "We are deeply worried by indications that the "fog of war"  could be exploited by the Israeli government to commit further crimes against the Palestinian people, up to full-fledged ethnic cleansing.... We call upon the International Community to pay close attention to events... to make it absolutely clear that crimes against humanity will not be tolerated." 

And so while Arab suicidal-homicidal bombers were carrying out nearly daily attempts at genocide upon the Children of Israel, Professor Oz and his friends were watching out for those who cheered on the Jihad jockeys! Jewish life is very precious. Professor Oz thinks the lives of those who cheer on the Jihadists to murder Jews are also precious and wants the Israeli soldiers who refuse to serve in Judea-Samaria and Gaza to know it.  On the Refusing for Israel site petition, he signed on to express..."[We want to] express our appreciation and support for those of our students and lecturers who refuse to serve as soldiers in the occupied territories. Such service too often involves carrying out orders that have no place in a democratic society founded on the sanctity of human life."  In another article, Oz wrote, "The average Israeli kids go to the army and turn [into] sadistic animals!"  Oz is also quoted as saying "The repressive policies of my country against the Palestinian population is appalling, racist, sometimes horrifying in its cruelty, and often having crossed the boundaries of war crimes...."  Oh, PALEEEZA! Any hint suggesting that Israelis are remotely akin to war criminals --- especially from a Jew! --- is obscene. 

But who can blame the poo' poo' "Palestinians when they go on killing sprees? According to Professor Oz, the Israeli Devil made 'em do it as he inferred in an Oznik.com message... "A gigantic army tramples over a small nation. Soldiers performing mass arrests, scaring little children, humiliating their parents, fostering a new generation of suicide bombers, and ensuring the continuation of the conflict for posterity."

It's bad enough that Professor Oz  attacks his beleaguered nation using his own time and money. But Oz's treasonous activities are all carried out under the auspices of the University of Haifa.  It seems Oz created, owns and operates the ALEF (acronym for ACADEMIC LEFT) List on University of Haifa's very own computer system even though it endorses terror, suggests inaction in the face of that terrorism, promotes anti-Semitism and encourages treason. It seems to be a Venus Fly Trap for every academic quisling "left" of the Green Line! An "outsider" who snuck in below ALEF's radar described it accurately when he wrote, "Oz seeks to have ALEF serve as a medium for North Korean style re-education, with himself apparently serving as the Darling Leader. He wishes ALEF to be a safe zone preserved only for those expressing treasonous and pro-terror opinions, including by some members of the Professors for a Second Holocaust." BINGO!

It also seems he's being investigated for telling his students that IDF troops are Nazis. This is quite ironic coming from a professor reported on Kolbo-Haifa (weekly) to have hung a PLO flag on the University of Haifa campus! The matter is currently under investigation by Knesset member, Limor Livnat.

He may also may be involved in the disappearance of money that disappeared from his Haifa University "theater." The university said they shut it down the "theatre" because the money granted for its use disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Professor "Sticky Fingers," why won't you tell us all about the money an how it disappeared so mysteriously? When are you going to tell the president of the university what you did with the money?

We have to give the professor high marks for imagination and ingenuity. Maybe that comes from years of trying to untwist all those Shakespearean lines into meaningful dialogue. Or perhaps his twisting of history follows a famous line from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" about taking a "pound of flesh" ... but this time out of Israel!

We have lots more to report on this Self-Hating Israel-Threatening Judenrat but we feel a bit sorry for the old boy. So we'll just simply pull out one more nugget, this time from Act IV Scene One of William Shakespeare's play, Macbeth... "Something wicked this way comes."  It is spoken by Macbeth and the "wicked something" is Macbeth himself, for by this point in the play HE is the traitor and murderer!
